A-Line

There is an array of dress types to suit various body types. I've come to realize (after many years of experimenting) lol that A-line dresses are definitely the most flattering on my body type. I felt so pretty in this dress! I laavv it! :D

I wanted to do something different with my hair, i tried a side bang, and i actually really like it. New go-to hair style, maybe ?

Lookbook | Back to school

I uploaded a back to school lookbook to my youtube channel to provide inspiration for those of us returning to school in a few weeks. I showed 5 looks, representing each day of the week! Most of the looks are versatile (they can be dressed up or down) just a matter of switching up the shoes to some heels. Grey leopard

This skirt is probably one of the oldest items in my closet, i got it from primark in England about 6 years ago. It makes me wish we had primark in Canada. I love how its a leopard print but its toned down because its grey and black, i paired it with a teal coloured blouse and a statement necklace, i added these white strappy heels to complete the look. I have been inspired by this skirt so it'll definitely be featured in an upcoming lookbook on my youtube channel!

Mickey

We all have those pieces of clothing which are 3 sizes bigger and we buy them just because they are on sale, but they just end up turning into cluster! Well, i love sale items and i always fall victim. But ever since i got my sewing machine, i have been able to alter pieces to fit me exactly how i want! I finally wrote my last paper yesterday and i feel so relieved! Above all i am happy to return to sewing!

This mickey top was a regular short sleeved shirt, and i cut it up into croptop with low arms and i wear it a lot more this way (i guess i can call it a D.I.Y). I paired it with high waisted pants because i don't like to show too much skin on top and bottom at the same time.

OOTD | Cut It Out

I paired my these gorge floral wedges (one of my recent buys) with a magenta top which features shoulder cut outs. I wanted to add some edge to the outfit as i felt it was a bit too feminine so i added my gold chain necklace and my round sunglasses to the mix, and voila!

This top bun has been my go to hairstyle lately, as i've really been enjoying wearing my natural hair. Its nice to take a break from the weaves once in a while. Although i do love me some luscious weave! :D

New Things!

I have wanted a new black bag that i can wear everyday. I spotted this one in zara and i instantly fell in love, and my friend decided to gift it to me, can you imagine how happy i was? I love how sturdy it is, and it was on sale for $29.99! (you guys should definitely check out the zara sale, they have a lot of nice finds)

I have wanted a clutch that looked like this for a while, but they always had a ridiculous price tag. I found this one on f21 and i thought it was a decent price, so i couldn't pass up on it :D

I saw these shoes weeks ago at h&m and they were $29.95. I thought "i don't think i wanna pay that price" so i went back this week, and they came down to $7, and i thought definitely! (Only thing is they don't have straps, but thats not a problem.)
